You have two options:

You can select a new Medicare Part D plan that covers all of your medications.

Medicaid and "Extra Help" recipients both receive a quarterly Special Enrollment Period and can change their Medicare Part D plan once per quarter during the first nine months of the year (January through September).  Your newly selected plan will take effect on the first day of the month following your enrollment.  You can use our DrugFinder (Q1Rx.com) to compare Medicare Part D plans by coverage for a specific drug.

Your other option is to request a formulary exception -- by which you, with the assistance of your prescriber,  make a formal request to your Medicare Part D plan to have a particular medication added to your personal formulary.  If your request is denied, you have the right to appeal your plan's decision.
