What will change?
Everything you found before is still available on Q1Medicare.com - even all of your old links and bookmarks will continue to work just like before.  In the upcoming months we will expand our site to offer more information on Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplements, general Medicare, and healthy lifestyles.

Our Online Tools are all Still Available!
We have spent a great deal of time developing and refining our online tools and content and all of our tools are still available to you at no cost and include:
  • PDP-Finder – A streamlined way to find the details of all Medicare Part D plans in your area.  This is one of our own internal favorites.  We use it to help people get an overview of Part D plans in their state or narrow the search for Part D plans by plan name or deductible or premium or ....

  • PDP-DrugFinder – A simple online tool that lets you search through your Medicare Part D plan’s formulary by drug name or NDC (National Drug Code)  (click here for an example of how Lantus is covered by Ohio’s AdvantraRx Plans).  When someone asks about whether a certain medication is covered by their Medicare Part D plan, we can quickly look up the drugs using this tool.  Our search provides more detailed information then most other such tools - even down to the packaging of the drugs.

  • PDP-Facts – An overview of the Medicare Part D plan information in every state including overall changes from last year.  This may be the only place where you can see a summary of all Part D information for your state or across the country - good for people who are researching Part D changes.

  • PDP-Compare – This may be the only online comparison tool where you can see detailed changes in your Medicare Part D plan from one plan year to the next (click here for an example of plan changes).  You will also receive information like this in your Annual Notice of Change letter for your existing Part D plan.

  • PDP-Planner – Our online annual budgeting tool with donut hole information (click here for our 2009 example).  You can use this tool if you would like to estimate how much you will spend, and the timing of your spending during the Part D plan year.  To adjust the accuracy of the estimate, use the figures from last year with our last year's PDP-Planner and adjust your current estimate upwards or downwards accordingly.
By the way...
Our new site Q1Medicare.com shares the same user experience with the original Medicare-PartD.com.  The upgrades we made to the Medicare-PartD.com site are duplicated on our Q1Medicare.com site.  We have darkened our text, added more spacing between the lines and added new graphics.  Click here and let us know your suggestions for improving our new Q1Medicare.com site.
