The most recent (April 2013) Medicare Part D plan formulary data (or drug lists) updates included 49 new drugs to the Medicare Part D program. As to the top 10 Medicare Part D drugs, Actos® 30 MG has changed package size (now 90 CT) and Pioglitazone 30 MG has been added (generic for Actos®)

We have chosen to include Altorvastatin, Clopidogrel, Escitalopram, Pioglitazone, and Quetiapine Fumarate to the list of Top 10 Medicare Drugs, so our list actually includes 15 drugs -- Lipitor® with it’s generic equivalent Atorvastatin and Escitalopram for Lexapro®, Clopidogrel for Plavix®, Pioglitazone for Actos®, and Quetiapine Fumarate generic equivalent for Seroquel®.
The changes to the number of formularies covering these medications looks as follows:
