A number of 2011 Medicare prescription drug plans and Medicare Advantage plans are being discontinued in 2012. People who are currently enrolled in these plans should have already received a notice in the mail explaining that their current Medicare prescription drug plan or Medicare Advantage plan will not be available next year.
If you are a member of one of these discontinued plans, you will be either transitioned to another Medicare Part D prescription drug plan offered by the same carrier or you will need to select a new Medicare Part D prescription drug plan (or
