Remember that the
2017 Medicare Advantage Disenrollment Period (
MADP) continues only through
today, February 14th.
During the MADP, you can leave your 2017 Medicare
Advantage plan (
MA or MAPD) and return to your Original Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B coverage
– and you have the opportunity to enroll in a 2017 stand-alone Medicare Part D
prescription drug plan or PDP (even when your Medicare Advantage plan did not include
prescription drug coverage).
You can read more about the Medicare Advantage Disenrollment Period (MADP) in our Frequently Asked Questions:
https://Q1FAQ.com/595.html
You can use our stand-alone Medicare Part D prescription drug Plan Finder (
PDP-Finder/FL) to see a listing of all available drug plans in your area:
https://PDP-Finder.com/2017/FL
To take advantage of the 2017 MADP, please telephone a Medicare representative toll-free at 1-800-633-4227.
Remember: If you disenroll from your Medicare Advantage plan, the disenrollment begins the first day of the next month after disenrollment. So if you disenroll from your plan today, February 14th, your Original Medicare Part A and Part B coverage begins on March 1st. You can also join a stand-alone Medicare Part D prescription drug plan at the same time and your new prescription drug plan will also start on March 1st.
