Q1Medicare.com has helped people compare Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans since 2006. It is a non-government, independent resource and stays free for everyone. The site is run by Develop Health; learn about ClearPA, Develop Health’s prior authorization service.

Where the numbers come from

Every plan figure is published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services: the plan Landscape file, plan benefit packages, the Part C & D Star Ratings, the plan crosswalk and the quarterly Prescription Drug Plan Formulary, Pharmacy Network and Pricing files. Drug names come from the FDA NDC Directory. Each page states the plan year and region it describes.
