MedicarePartD.guide

A non-government resource built from CMS public data

Which plans cover this drug, and what will it cost?

A tier number only means something once you know which tier the drug lands on. Search a drug to see its tier, the copay or coinsurance, the plan’s negotiated price, and whether it carries a prior authorization, step therapy or quantity limit.

5,990 drugs across 39 CMS regions. Type at least two letters.

What the data covers

  • 5,990 drugs appear on at least one Medicare Part D formulary nationally. For each region below you get either plan-by-plan detail — tier, cost-sharing, utilization management and the plan’s negotiated unit cost — or a plain statement that no plan there covers it.
  • 39 CMS regions are covered — every state, DC and the territories — 367 stand-alone Part D plans in total. Pick a region above and every result becomes a single verdict for it.
  • Medicare Advantage formularies are not included, and cost-sharing is shown only for the regions listed above.
