Does Q1Medicare offer a Medicare Advantage Plan Finder?

Online Tool Tips · updated Jun 6, 2025

Yes.  Our this site® Medicare Advantage Plan Finder or MA-Finder (MA-Finder.com) is an online tool providing information on all all types of Medicare Advantage plans:  MA, MAPD, MSA, and SNPs in a specific Service Area (ZIP, Country, or partial-County).

Question:  How can I get started searching Medicare Advantage plans in my area?

You can start on the this site homepage, use the left-hand navigation for a link or begin directly at MA-Finder.com and you can either choose your state, then county - or enter your ZIP Code to get you started (here is an example for St. Johns County, Florida: MA-Finder.com/32084).  The MA-Finder will ask you to choose your county when your ZIP includes more than once county.  You can also use the various search filters to narrow your Medicare Advantage plan search (for example, if you only want to see MAPDs, you can select "Show only plans WITH Drug Coverage").

Question:  What information will I see for each Medicare Advantage plan?

When you first begin you will see a list of all Medicare Advantage plans in your area so you can get a quick overview of important  Medicare plan features:
  • the name of the Medicare Advantage plan along with the Medicare plan ID (such as: H1045-026-0),
Tip: You can click on the name for more coverage and plan details (see below for more information),
  • an overview of the Medicare plan's Star Ratings with links to more details about the meaning of the plan's Star Ratings,
  • the monthly plan premium, even if the Medicare Advantage plan has a $0 premium (you can also choose to view Medicare Advantage plans that have a Part B "Giveback" feature that has a $0 premium and refunds a portion of your Medicare Part B premium back to you),
  • initial deductible (if applicable, some plans have a $0 deductible - and many plans will exclude low-costing tiers from the deductible and we will show: "Tier 1 and 2 exempt"),
  • the Medicare Advantage plan's maximum out-of-pocket limit (MOOP) for Medicare Part A and Part B coverage,
  • a link to the plan's online drug list ("Browse Formulary") so you can view the plan's formulary or drug list, and
  • whether the plan has preferred pharmacy pricing (showing Rx$ icon) - meaning you may pay less at a preferred pharmacy.
Tip:  The list of Medicare Advantage plans is sorted by default alphabetically by premiums (low to high premium).  You will note that by default we show all Medicare Advantage plans so some Medicare Advantage plans (MAs) will not include drug coverage ("No Rx Coverage") and some plans are Special Needs Plans (SNPs) that only except members who qualify for the plan's defined special need(s) (for example, a specific chronic condition or financial need).

Note:  You may wish to telephone the Medicare plan (using the toll-free number provided on the same page) to confirm or clarify any cost-sharing details that you find unclear.  (For example, "What will I pay if I visit an out-of-network healthcare provider without a referral from my primary care physician?")
