You would pay your Medicare Part D plan's negotiated retail price, less the Donut Hole Discount.

You can see an estimate of the cost of your medication during all phase of coverage on a particular Medicare Part D plan by using our the drug finder® Drug Finder ( on this site) and clicking on the cost-sharing amount for the Medicare Part D plan.

If, by chance, the normal retail price (not a sale price) of your medication at a particular pharmacy is less than your plan's negotiated retail drug price or cost-sharing, you will pay the normal retail price rather than the negotiated retail drug price.  So you never pay more than the normal retail price.
