In fall 2011, the Annual Enrollment Period and the Annual Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period were combined into one enrollment period. This enrollment period takes place in the Fall of each year from October 15th - December 7th. The 2026 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) / Open Enrollment Period (OEP) will be from October 15, 2025 through December 7, 2025. If you change your Medicare Part D (prescription drug) or Medicare Advantage plan during this period, your new coverage will begin on January 1, 2026. If you cancel your coverage during the AEP/OEP, your coverage will be canceled as of December 31, 2025.
