What if your 2013 Medicare Part D plan or Medicare Advantage plan is not offered in 2014?
Medicare provides a Special Enrollment Period for members of Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Part D plans that are not renewing (or are being discontinued in 2014).
If your Medicare Advantage plan or Medicare Part D plan is discontinued (or does not renew), you may choose to join a new Medicare Advantage plan or Medicare Part D plan during the annual Open Enrollment Period.
