The 480,000 members of the 2015 Cigna-HealthSpring Rx Secure-Xtra (PDP) will not only find a 2016 name change, but will also see changes to their 2016 prescription drug plan coverage when their plan becomes the Cigna-HealthSpring Rx Secure-Extra (PDP) (as seen in the table below).
In addition to the 2015 Cigna-HealthSpring Rx Secure-Xtra (PDP) name change, members of the 2015 Cigna-HealthSpring Rx Secure-Max (PDP) -- over 21,000 people -- will be automatically moved (crosswalked) to the 2016 Cigna-HealthSpring Rx Secure-Extra (PDP) plan. These two 2015 Cigna-HealthSpring plans that will be consolidated in 2016 and the plan features compare as follows:

From the chart, you can see that the 2016 Cigna-HealthSpring Rx Secure-Extra (PDP) plan will be similar in plan structure to the 2015 Cigna-HealthSpring Rx Secure-Xtra (PDP). However, the 2016 plan will have a higher premium, $250 initial deductible, and cover slightly fewer medications on its formulary.
